Jesus Millennial reign on Earth does not begin immediately, there is a seventy-five-day interval during which a number of things happen;
Daniel 12: 11 – 12 -“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days”.
The Tribulation lasts seven years or (7 x 360 days per year according to the Hebrew calendar of Daniel’s time) = 2,520 days, thus each half lasts 1,260 days, however Daniel refers to a period of 1,335 days after the middle of The Tribulation and this period is referred to as The Seventy-Five Day Interval.
Removal of the image of the Antichrist
As recorded above the image of the Antichrist is removed from the Jewish temple 1,290 days after it was set up.
The Antichrist and The False Prophet will be cast in to the Lake of Fire
Revelation 19: 20 – Then I saw the beast (Antichrist) and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse (Jesus) and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.
Although Antichrist will be killed during the battle of Jerusalem he will be resurrected again to be thrown alive in to the Lake of Fire.
Satan will be bound for One Thousand Years
Revelation 20: 1 – 3 -And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
For the one thousand years of Jesus reign on Earth the Devil will be bound and prevented from influencing or tempting the human race.
All non-Jews (Gentiles) remaining alive will be judged by Jesus
Matthew 25: 31 – 46 – “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep (believers) on his right and the goats (unbelievers) on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world…’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels…’ Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life”.
Thus, all remaining believers will enter the Millennial Kingdom but all non-believers will go to Hell.
All believers in God who were not part of the Rapture will be resurrected
Isaiah 26: 19 – But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies will rise—let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy—your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.
This is an Old Testament reference confirming that everyone who believed in God during the period of time from Noah to the ascension of Jesus will be raised to life, just as all dead Christians were at the Rapture, to enter the Millennial Kingdom.
All believers who died in The Tribulation will be resurrected
Revelation 20: 4 – I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
The Marriage Feast of The Lamb
Revelation 19: 9 -Then the angel said to me, ‘Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ And he added, ‘These are the true words of God.’
All those who were part of The Rapture and the two resurrections above will enjoy a feast to mark the end of The Tribulation and the start of the Millennial Reign of Jesus.
